Pure Water Choices was founded with a simple mission: provide Colorado homeowners with the best water quality possible at a fair price, backed by honest, professional service.
Over 15 years later, we're still family-owned and operated, still based in Castle Rock, and still committed to treating every customer like a neighbor — because you are.

Meet the Team
Eric Curtis
Owner & Master Plumber
Master Plumber Eric grew up in the trade and has been working with plumbing since a very young age. In 2018, he took over Mid-Cities Plumbing & Heating Inc. from his father, continuing the family tradition of dependable service and skilled workmanship.
That same year, he began working closely with Al Vandenhuevel at Pure Water Choices, where he gained valuable experience in water filtration systems and sustainable solutions. Through years of mentorship and hands-on learning, Eric developed a deep understanding of clean water technologies.
In 2022, he acquired Pure Water Choices from Al, carrying forward its mission of providing homes and businesses with reliable, high-quality water solutions. Today, Eric leads both Mid-Cities Plumbing & Heating Inc. and Pure Water Choices with a commitment to quality, efficiency, and improving everyday comfort for the communities he serves.
Sean Owen
Chief Operating Officer
Sean is the Chief Operating Officer at Pure Water Choices, where he oversees daily operations and works directly with homeowners throughout the entire process — from answering questions and providing free in-home estimates to performing installations and ensuring exceptional customer care.
Sean specializes in whole-house water filtration and is passionate about helping families better understand their water quality and treatment options. He believes in honest, straightforward education so customers can confidently choose the right solution for their home.
Known for his attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship, Sean takes pride in delivering clean, professional installations that perform at a high level while looking organized and polished. He is continually expanding his knowledge of water quality and filtration technologies to better serve every customer.
