This is based on an area next to or near the well tank. Supply and install a 13 x 54" Iron-Soft hybrid water softener with a Clack WS-1 E series back washing valve.
Because of the amount of iron in your water this is our recommendation for your investment. Your investment includes the Clack AlO that uses a patented backwashing valve on an Enpress Vortex tank that compress the air in the top of the tank. This compressed air helps to oxidize the iron. As the iron laden water passes through the air it becomes filterable. The iron water then is filtered and trap as it passes down through the filter media. We use Katalox Light filter media to trap the iron. During the backwash cycle the filter media is moved around and cleaned while the iron is washed down the drain. The system then compresses the air again so as to help in the next iron removal cycle. This media should be good for about 7 to 10 years.
